Registered Nurse New

Pride Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in the Medicine Specialty in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a dynamic hospital setting, providing care to a diverse patient population.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medicine Specialty
• Location: OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
• Start Date: 04/28/2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12s (36 hours/week) | Day Shift
• Floating: Required across all Medical-Surgical/Stepdown (MS/SD) units
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Travel Pay: $2,250/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across various Medical-Surgical/Stepdown units
• Assess, document, and monitor patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with exams and minor procedures
• Educate patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures
• Delegate tasks to support staff and collaborate with the healthcare team

Experience:

• 1+ year of RN experience in an acute care setting
• Trauma Level 1 experience
• Experience working in Medical-Surgical or Stepdown (MS/SD) units

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Licenses and Certifications:

• Active RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – AHA

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
